A Family Breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs & Bernedoodles
Since 2017, our family has been raising Bernese Mountain Dog and Bernedoodle puppies at home with love, patience and a lasting commitment to their well-being.
Family raised with faithful hearts since 2017More Than a Breeding Program—Part of Our Family
Faithful Hearts Berners began in 2017 from our family's love for the loyal Bernese Mountain Dog and the affectionate, intelligent Bernedoodle.
We are home breeders, which means our dogs and puppies are raised as part of our everyday family life. They are not kept in a large commercial breeding environment. Our children and family members spend time with the puppies, gently handling, playing with and caring for them as they grow.
This close family contact helps each puppy become familiar with people, household activity and the loving attention they can expect in their future home. We believe puppies learn trust through consistent care, which is why we remain personally involved in every stage of their early development.
We Breed Only About Once Every Two Years
Our program is intentionally small. We generally breed only once in about two years so we can focus our time, energy and attention on our dogs, each litter and every individual puppy.
This limited approach allows us to prepare carefully, support the mother, monitor the puppies closely and give them the daily interaction they need. For us, responsible breeding is not about producing as many puppies as possible. It is about taking excellent care of the puppies entrusted to us and placing them thoughtfully.
How We Prepare Puppies for Their New Families
We give every puppy a loving beginning and age-appropriate foundations that families can continue after homecoming.
Family Socialization
Our children and family members help puppies become comfortable with different people, gentle handling, play, voices and the normal sights and sounds of a home.
Early Potty Routines
We introduce consistent, age-appropriate potty routines before puppies leave. While a young puppy will still need patient training, this early foundation helps make the transition easier.
Individual Care
We observe each puppy's developing personality, confidence and needs. This helps us guide families toward a puppy that may suit their household and lifestyle.
Finding Loving, Lifelong Homes
We do not place our puppies on a first-come, first-served basis without learning about the family who will care for them.
Tell Us About Yourself
We ask interested families to share their household, lifestyle, puppy preferences and previous experience with dogs.
Discuss the Commitment
Bernese Mountain Dogs and Bernedoodles need time, training, companionship, grooming, exercise and responsible veterinary care throughout their lives.
Make a Thoughtful Match
We review the information provided and decide which available home and puppy pairing offers the best opportunity for a loving, lasting relationship.

Support After Your Puppy Comes Home
Our responsibility does not end on pickup or delivery day.
We remain available to support our puppy families as their new companion settles in. We appreciate updates and enjoy seeing our puppies grow, learn and become treasured members of their households.
Families are welcome to contact us with questions about the puppy's transition, routine, socialization, potty training and general care. When health concerns arise, families should always consult their licensed veterinarian promptly, but we remain here to offer breeder support and share the information we have about the puppy's early routine.
